A wonderful warming oil for autumn and winter is Cinnamon essential oil. I prefer to use Cinnamon Bark essential to Cinnamon Leaf essential oil as it is a more pure smelling oil.
While Cinnamon essential oil is quite strong, it is safe to use in blends or in an appropriate carrier oil. Just be careful! I’ve (literally) been burned by Cinnamon essential oil when using it for soapmaking and essential oil blends.
I suggest using it in warming blends at a low dilution and blending it with other essential oils. Find out some other amazing properties of Cinnamon essential oil below.
