So I went to my naturopathic doctor. She wasn’t too concerned by the increase in my thyroid antibodies levels.
She suggested my pain and tiredness was coming from inflammation and possibly a slow adrenal gland. She started me on some adrenal supplements as well as some tumeric for the inflammation.
She also told me that cutting out dairy may help my thyroid function and inflammation. So goodbye butter! Maybe this is the dietary change I need.
I’ll check back with her in 3 months to see if anything has changed.
I’ve still been feeling pretty tired and sluggish. The little guy and I started walking this week, 2 miles each day. It feels great to get outside and to have a routine. I’m glad to continue this everyday.

Gluten Free Cashew Butter/Chocolate Shake
- 5 tbsp Cashew Butter
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder (all natural)
- 2 tsp Honey
- 10 oz Milk
- Ice Cubes
