So it’s spring, but not quite warm enough to open up the windows and let the fresh air in.
Lately I’ve noticed a sort of stagnant smell to our home. I can’t really explain it, its like a musty, dusty, smell. Generally when we have such a cold winter and don’t have any warm days to open the windows the house begins to smell this way.
To combat the smell, I’m grabbing some of my favorite deodorizing essential oils. Check out my list, grab a few that you like and add them to a diffuser, or better yet, soak some cotton balls in the oil and place them around the house.
Now all essential oils smell good, but these essential oils actually take away unpleasant smells. That’s why they are deodorizing.
Deodorizing Essential Oils
- Siberian Fir
Now this list may seem short, but these are the best oils to use! Plus with these three you have a very interesting scent profile.
Lavender is slightly floral, Neroli has a citrus scent, and Siberian Fir smells much like pine.
That’s it! Choose whatever one you’d like and deodorize away.
