I am so excited to bundle up and take our boys to Kennywood’s Holiday Lights tonight!
Our boys are three and one, so this is a very magical time of year for them. Getting to stay up late, being bundled up, and heading out to look at the lights is one of my favorite Christmas traditions.
This is the first year we are going to experience Kennywood’s lights with our boys. We’ve always opted for places where we can ride through, but this year we are bring our trusted Lillebaby carrier as well as our RadioFlyer wagon .
It’s supposed to be somewhat warm tonight, but we’ll still be bundled up. There’s just something about crisp winter air and warm jackets that makes my heart happy.
Tonight there will be local choirs performing, which I’m really excited about. I just love Christmas carols! There will also be over TWO MILLION LIGHTS! I’m sure it will all be quite spectacular.
I think my boys will be most excited about the Gingerbread Express – a fun train ride around the park. We are HUGE train fans in this house, so it’s likely that we will ride this train quite a few times before the night is over.
If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, I’ll be posting some images of the fun! Make sure you follow the hashtags #Kennywood and #Kennywoodlights .
