I am a wife, mother, blogger, teacher, certified aromatherapist and lover of all things DIY.
I started blogging in 2012 with the birth of my business, Wise Wife Soaps. It was really born out of necessity as my husband has had so much trouble with commercial soaps. That’s where the “Wise Wife” part fits in. I’m not quite as wise as I’d like to be, but I’m working on it.
Anyway, making natural products is my passion and I love to educate others on how to live more simply. That’s why many of my blog posts are about DIY projects, essential oils, and general healthy living. I’m always up for a fun DIY and am always researching new health and beauty trends.
In 2014, I had my first child, which led to many posts on motherhood and its many struggles. I needed a place to vent, and the blog soon became that place.
I’m still learning and growing as a mother and I’d love to hear from you along the way. I’m an avid babywearer, cloth diaper user, and have been called a “crunchy mama” by many.
If you’re interested, check out my shop. It’s where I make some extra income to keep this blog going and where I showcase my talents. You’ll also see me include affiliate links in my posts and ads running along my page.
All these things help me pay for the upkeep costs on the blog and for my coffee fund which is very, very important.
