I just have to say that I absolutely LOVE my trainer, Ashley. She knows so much about fitness and how to tailor eating and workout habits for their intended results. Check out her page and tell her I sent you: ( https://www.facebook.com/bodymorphitofficial ).
Never would I have attempted many of the things that I am doing. From deadlifting to HIIT training, I actually feel empowered when I go to the gym, not afraid!
And I’m actually running. Like sprinting. At a gym. With people in it. For someone with workout anxiety, that’s a HUGE accomplishment.
Trust me, I’ve still got a long way to go, but I’m finally seeing how to get there.
In the past six months, the #1 lesson I’ve learned is consistency. I know I didn’t get as out of shape as I was in six months, so I can’t expect to fix everything in that amount of time either.
The part I need to work on most is nutrition. Ashley has given me some wonderful guidelines that I need to get better at following. However, I’m sure many of you know how easy it is to just “grab and go” when you are busy. I’ve started prepping meals ahead of time, so hopefully that will keep me from making bad choices.
Also, and this is another one on my weaknesses – carbs. They seem to be the easiest of things to grab. So we’ll get there.
However, I am SO HAPPY to report that I am finally below my pre-pregnancy weight. Which means some very baggy jeans. Which is why they sag.
So I went looking for new jeans. I tried the size smaller and they were TOO BIG still… So now I’m down two sizes. Which is the size I wore in high school. Which feels amazing.
Anyway, here’s a closer look at this month’s stats:
- Total weight lost: 6.4 lbs (considering all the muscle gain, this is a HUGE win for me!)
- Inches lost: 49.2 inches! (I’m double checking with my trainer, but I think that’s right!!)
